Ready-to-run apps for your VPS

Databases on your VPS

Databases, smart spreadsheets and data dashboards. Each app arrives installed, with its own HTTPS address and an admin account, on Mega Cloud VPS plans in Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo.

Databases on your server

A database managed by you, on your VPS: PostgreSQL with pgAdmin and external access protected by SSL; Supabase with a database, user authentication and a ready-made API; Directus as a content panel and API on top of the database; NocoDB and Baserow as spreadsheets that turn into databases; Metabase to turn all of it into charts and reports.

All arrive installed with HTTPS and their own credentials, and backups are up to you: Mega's VPS Storage is the natural destination for an off-server copy.

  • Its own HTTPS address and an admin account
  • Root SSH access and the VPS panel in the client area

Frequently asked questions

Questions about databases on a VPS

Can I connect my external system to the database?

Yes. On PostgreSQL, port 5432 is open only for connections with SSL and a password; on Supabase, the API and the database have their own HTTPS address. Credentials arrive with the installation.

NocoDB or Baserow?

Both turn tables into a database with a spreadsheet interface. NocoDB connects to databases that already exist; Baserow is closer to Airtable, with forms and collaborative views. Both fit on the Basic plan.
