BrByte's Controllr handles provisioning, authentication, bandwidth control and network management for ISPs. We host the server in three sizes, in Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo.

Three sizes, one per ISP scale

CPU, memory and NVMe sized for your number of subscribers and devices. We deliver the access credentials; BrByte installs and migrates Controllr.

Protection and backup

Inline DDoS mitigation, included. Snapshot before any change, and daily off-server backup as an option.

Why host Controllr in Rio de Janeiro

Controllr provisions the ONU, authenticates the subscriber and applies the bandwidth limit. With the server in Rio, ISPs in RJ, ES and MG get these responses within the region, without a long route to São Paulo.

The machine sits in our Rio de Janeiro data center, on our own network, with a presence at the Rio internet exchange (IX.br) and two transit providers. Mega's original location.

Before ordering Cloud Controllr

Is the Controllr license included?

No. The license is purchased directly from BrByte; we deliver the server ready to use.

Which size should I choose?

Size 01 suits small ISPs; 02 is the most popular; 03 is for large subscriber bases or many concentrators. If in doubt, talk to us first.

Do you migrate Controllr?

The migration is done by BrByte support, who know the database and the provisioning. Mega delivers the server ready and follows the maintenance window for anything related to the server and network.

Issue with the OLT or with the server: who handles it?

If it is the server, network, operating system, performance, backup or security, Mega handles it, 24 hours. If it is Controllr behavior or equipment behavior, BrByte handles it.
