What is n8n

n8n is an open source automation platform under the fair-code model. You build a workflow in a visual editor by chaining nodes that receive data, apply rules and pass the result to another system. It works as a self-hosted alternative to tools like Zapier and Make.

According to the official website, n8n offers over 500 ready-made integrations and more than 10,000 workflow templates shared by the community. You can also write JavaScript or Python at any step and build AI agents with models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or local models.

On n8n's own cloud, pricing depends on the number of executions. The Community edition, installed on your own server, is free and has no limit on workflows or executions. Your only cost is the VPS.

Automatic HTTPS

Your n8n address opens with a Let's Encrypt certificate, with nothing for you to set up.

Admin account created

The main account already exists. You receive the login and password and go straight into the editor.

Webhooks working

Webhook URLs already respond on the public address, so workflows triggered by external systems work from the first test.

São Paulo time zone

Schedules follow Brasília time, so your hourly triggers need no time zone adjustment.

Restarts on its own

n8n runs in a Docker container and starts again after a server reboot.

Credentials only for you

Passwords and keys are generated during installation and delivered only to you, by email and WhatsApp.

Select the Cloud VPS with n8n and pick whether the server is in Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo, Brazil. The price is the same in both.

We accept Pix, card or boleto, on a monthly, semiannual or annual cycle. There is no lock-in and you have 7 days to request a refund.

After payment is confirmed, the system creates the VPS and installs n8n with Docker, HTTPS and the admin account.

Log in and start
The address, login and password arrive by email and WhatsApp. Just open the link and build your first workflow.

Basic is the recommended plan and covers most uses, since n8n takes about 480 MB of memory when idle. Move up to Plus, Pro or Turbo if you run many simultaneous workflows, large files or AI calls.

Frequently asked questions about n8n

How much does a VPS with n8n cost?

The Start plan costs per month, and Basic, the recommended plan for n8n, is US$ 11.95. n8n Community is free, so you only pay for the VPS, with no per-execution fees.

Does self-hosted n8n have an execution limit?

No. The Community edition installed on your own server does not limit workflows or executions. The ceiling is what the VPS can handle in CPU, memory and disk.

Which language does the n8n interface use?

The editor interface is in English. You can still name your workflows and steps in any language, and Mega's team takes care of the server side.

Can I use my own domain for n8n hosting?

Yes. Point a DNS record from your domain to the VPS IP and adjust the proxy on the server, where you have root access over SSH. The HTTPS address delivered at installation stays available.

Who updates n8n on my VPS?

You decide when. The delivered version is 2.44.0 and stays pinned, so an update does not break your workflows without warning. When you want to upgrade, do it through root access, preferably after testing.

Can I install Evolution API on the same VPS as n8n?

Yes, as long as there is free memory. The apps share the same server, each with its own address. For n8n and Evolution API together, Plus is the most comfortable starting point.

How do I reset n8n to a clean install?

From the VPS panel in the client area, you can reinstall the system. This erases the current data and delivers a clean n8n. Back up any workflows and credentials you want to keep first.

Where is my self-hosted n8n data stored?

On the NVMe disk of your VPS, in the data center you chose when ordering, Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo, Brazil. Workflows, credentials and execution history are not kept on a third-party cloud.
