WhatsApp and support · Rio de Janeiro or São PauloEvolution API is an open source project that connects WhatsApp numbers to your system through HTTP calls. At Mega Dedicados it arrives running on your VPS, with PostgreSQL, HTTPS and an access key, in Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo, Brazil.

Evolution API is installed on all four VPS Cloud plans, with root access over SSH. The app needs at least 1024 MB of free memory, and the more memory a plan has, the more numbers and messages it can handle.
Billed monthly in US dollars, with the app installed. Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo, same price. Plans start at the smallest size where the app runs well. Need more? Upgrade from the client area, without reinstalling.
With Rio de Janeiro selected, your VPS with Evolution API runs in Mega's original data center, on our own network with a presence at the Rio internet exchange (IX.br) and redundant transit. It is the lowest latency for users in Rio, Espírito Santo and Minas Gerais, and our support team works in the same city as the server.
With São Paulo selected, your VPS with Evolution API runs in our environment next to the busiest internet exchange in Latin America, on our own network with redundant transit. It is the shortest path to users across Brazil and South America and to banks, payment gateways and APIs hosted in São Paulo. Same price as Rio.
Evolution API is an open source REST API for WhatsApp and other messaging channels. Each connected number becomes an instance, and your system sends messages, receives replies and queries contacts with simple HTTP requests, with no paid middleman.
There are two connection modes. Baileys is free, uses the WhatsApp Web protocol and connects by scanning a QR Code, as on your phone. Meta's official Cloud API requires a business manager account and may charge per message.
The app includes a management panel with a list of instances and the status of each number. It is also where you find the integrations with n8n, Chatwoot, Typebot, OpenAI, Dify, Flowise, Bot Evolution and EvoAI, plus Webhook and WebSocket events.
Connect the company number to Chatwoot and answer on WhatsApp with multiple agents, conversation history and labels.
A new order, an invoice close to its due date or a lead from your website can become an automatic message. With n8n on the same VPS, the whole flow runs on your own server.
Typebot, OpenAI, Dify or Flowise answer customers and hand the conversation to a person when needed.
An ERP, online store or course platform sends confirmations and reminders by calling the API with the number and the text.
Sales, support and billing stay in separate instances, each with its own key and QR Code.
Uptime Kuma can send notifications through Evolution API, so a website going down becomes a message on your WhatsApp.

Send text, audio, images, documents and locations, and read contacts and conversations, with a ready-made Postman collection.
Each number has its own instance and key. The total depends on the free memory of the VPS.
You choose the connection type when creating each instance: WhatsApp Web protocol or Meta's official API.
Every incoming message generates an event sent to your system instantly.
n8n, Chatwoot, Typebot, OpenAI, Dify and Flowise are enabled from the Evolution panel itself.
Instances, contacts, conversations and messages are stored in the database on your VPS.
Select Start, Basic, Plus or Pro, tick Evolution API and say whether the server should be in Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo, Brazil. The price is the same in both.
Pay with Pix, card or boleto, on a monthly, semiannual or annual cycle. There is no contract.
Once payment is confirmed, the VPS is created with the app, the database and HTTPS. The address, panel and key arrive by email and WhatsApp.
Log in to the panel, create the instance and scan the QR Code with the WhatsApp app on your phone. From then on, your system can use the API.
Basic is the recommended plan: idle Evolution API with PostgreSQL uses about 380 MB, well below the 1024 MB free minimum. Move up a plan as you connect more numbers and your message volume grows.
| Plan | Best for |
|---|---|
| Basic 2 vCore · 2 GB | Recommended: runs Evolution API with PostgreSQL well, for those who connect a few WhatsApp numbers and have a moderate message volume. |
| Plus 2 vCore · 4 GB | For those who connect more numbers or have message peaks and want extra memory and disk space. |
| Pro 4 vCore · 6 GB | Suited to operations with many connected numbers, high message volume and other services running on the same VPS. |
| Turbo 4 vCore · 12 GB | For heavy use, with many simultaneous numbers, a large message history and a need for plenty of memory and storage. |
Evolution API is free, so you only pay for the VPS, from per month on the Start plan. With the Baileys connection there is no per-message charge.
No, it is an independent project. It connects through Baileys, which uses the WhatsApp Web protocol, or through Meta's official Cloud API. The type is set when you create each instance.
Yes, if WhatsApp treats the usage as spam. Only message people who expect to hear from you, and for high-volume sending, prefer the official Cloud API.
Evolution API sets no limit. The limit is the memory of the VPS, since each connected instance uses some. The larger the plan, the more numbers fit.
The app requires at least 1024 MB of free memory. In our measurements, it uses about 380 MB when idle, including the database. For real use, Basic is the recommended plan.
Yes, both integrations are in the Evolution panel. n8n and Chatwoot can be installed on the same VPS, each with its own address, as long as there is free memory.
The delivered version is 2.3.7 and stays fixed, so an update does not break your connections without warning. You update whenever you want, over SSH with root access, preferably after testing.
From the VPS panel in the client area you can reinstall the server, which erases the data and requires connecting your numbers again. 24/7 support in Portuguese covers the server side, and using the app follows the project's documentation.
